I’ve read the first few chapters of Elegant Universe. Very well written, but still confusing to the likes of me.
Yeah it can be pretty confusing at times. I actually read it a few years ago but I wanted to read it again before reading Brian Greene’s newest books. If you still want to learn more about String Theory and quantum physics, you should check out The Elegant Universe documentary from PBS’s NOVA. It’s a fascinating topic and the documentary is a pretty good introduction that doesn’t go into too much details unlike the books. There’s also another PBS documentary about his second book, The Fabric of the Cosmos.
